Welcome back to my family history blog! I have a HUGE announcement!! DP Family Tree is merging along side The Heritage Hunters Podcast w/ Dawn Piercy & The Heritage Huntress!!!
That feeling of relief, and excitement when we finally break through a brick wall, getting our hands and or sight set on old manuscripts, original documents, and more! The most rewarding feeling comes with it and that’s how I’m feeling about this right now!

Hello and welcome to my family history blog. If this is your first time, feel free to explore the available areas. The locked areas are for family research, and for family members, cousins, and it gives me a way to share my source indexing, and results that I have not shared.
I received an email from family tree DNA, letting me know that My Heritage is taking over the family tree portion of the site, in meaning, you transfer your tree via your DNA, autosomal Family Finder, mtDNAFULL Sequence, Y-DNA, etc. You agree to transfer it, and it literally builds your tree for you! Connects you via DNA 🧬 and, find and gives you all the sources found. You take a look at them, is it them? Then you just push yes and can, like over 40 family members added!
Hello, welcome to my blog on Martyr’s, Monk’s, Saint’s, and Mayhem.
I have taken my time with what ancestors that I thought would be important to blog on via family history for me, and what to pass onto future generations of my family.

Hello and welcome back to my family history blog! It was DNA day on April 25, and the day I started this blog!!! So happy DNA day!!! March and April have been the most exciting month in exploring my mtDNA full sequence results via ftdna (Family Tree DNA), and RootsTech to start it off on March 2, as my results came in the same day that RootsTech started! I really didn’t know what to do after getting the reaults and then most recently I was introduced to My True Ancestry.
Welcome to my family history blog! If your new here, feel free to explore. Please take note that, even though I have over 30 yrs experience as a family historian, I am not a professional genealogist with years of experience, but now a newby genealogist with years of experience being a family historian.
