My Piercy Roots

My last name comes from the House of Percy, we are an English noble family. With roots to France, and back even further. My ancestors were one of the most powerful noble families in Northern England and for much of the Middle Ages, known for their long rivalry with another powerful northern English family, the House of Neville, which I am also descendant of.

My Journey to Getting a DNA Test

I thought about getting a DNA test done for years, but always held off because I didn’t want to spend so much money when there are so many places to get one, but something just wouldn’t let me rest until I got one done! After doing more research, and asking all of my friends where they got theirs done, I still wasn’t sure. So i settled with FTDNA.
