Genealogy Event for March 2-4, 2023

Family TreeDNA is a Gold Sponsor at RootsTech 2023!

Hi, and welcome back to my blog. I’ve updated this post. If you’re new here, feel free to explore my blog, and you will find links to help you on your journey on just about every page if your new to this, and even if you’re not new to this.

Today, I want to talk about an event that is happening right now.

If you and or your loved ones are working on family history, you know, we can never know enough. Once you jump down that rabbit hole, it’s a long winding road of mystery. Like the tree 🌳 of life. It can seems like it is awaiting for all its leaves 🍃 to flourish and bud. All that has come before us and passed. Your family tree is already complete though. You just have to climb, and dig far enough to unveil it. Do the source indexing, find where they are physically located if you have to. Find your cousins, lost relatives, and more.

I’ve been working on my family tree for over 30 years now, and I still have a ton of source indexing to do. So I am only yet a small fraction of the number of family historians in my immediate and extended family.

The event happening right now is geared towards teaching and educating us to help find ourselves on the pathway to climbing higher in our trees, and being able to help us find more sources, lost documents, birth certificates, death records, and so much more.

I can NOT stress enough how important these events and classes are, because, not only are they free, they are packed full of information! Even new ways to find documents!!! It not only helps you on your way, it’s gonna give you the tools you need moving forward in this journey, and this is information that you will keep with you for a lifetime and can pass on to your loved ones, or at least guide them in the right direction.
