I received an email from family tree DNA, letting me know that My Heritage is taking over the family tree portion of the site, in meaning, you transfer your tree via your DNA, autosomal Family Finder, mtDNAFULL Sequence, Y-DNA, etc. You agree to transfer it, and it literally builds your tree for you! Connects you via DNA 🧬 and, find and gives you all the sources found. You take a look at them, is it them? Then you just push yes and can, like over 40 family members added!

I do not have the money yet to purchase a year, nor do I for the DNA attaching, YET. But mark my words when I do.

It came back that I have a half sister, in her 50’s, living in Berlin, Germany, where she was born and raised, I have a first cousin, 0 x removed? Somehow also living in GERMANY. HE DID NOT KNOW!!! That I can PROMISE, because, this is where my father was stationed. He did tell me he had a girlfriend in Germany, but told us he couldn’t have kids, so it has to be at the end of his time in Germany, because he went to Vietnam directly after, as to why HIS WIFE AT THE TIME, wasn’t getting pregnant for the 10 yrs they where married, AND she was having an AFFAIR with my father’s Major, and WORSE. FAMILY DRAMA 🤯😭 . I’m so ill from being 2nd generation Agent Orange. It will mutate my offsprings DNA for the next 8 generations! I am angry 💢 at Agent Orange. I am angry my father is gone. Forever.

UPDATE*** I am grateful to have had my sister reach out to me after my blog post.  I am NOT sorry for feeling so deeply because I am not angry at my sister, and I am not angry at my father. I am angry at the root. Finding I’m not alone in this has been an eye opening experience for me. I am yet calm, and numb to the core of it from all of the Agent Orange issues but I can still smile, and be ok. Knowing time will wash it all away out of our bloodline after the 8 generations.

I looked her up, I have her name. I have my cousin’s name, which turned out to be my niece. She has my father nose and shape of face, and she’s beautiful. I truly wish her the best life, and I hope she has a family. A big one. And a happy and healthy one at that. May God bless her and hers. I hope one day she knows that our father (if she’s really my sister, and accordingly it looks that she is) had no idea. None what so ever. (That I know of) He was a model citizen and father. He was a really good father. In fact I know, if he knew. He would have stayed in Germany, and I wouldnt be here. I am so blessed to have the relationship I had with him, that I am lucky to have, and, to hold dear to my heart, and soul forever. Maybe one day she will reach out.(she did) and I’m so grateful.

*** UPDATE***

My sister reached out to me because I posted this. I am ok, I am grateful, and feel relieved to be honest. God bless her 🙏 ❤️ and watch over them please 🙏 amen.

It also came back with 22,624 close matches! 5th and less… I’m finding 1st cousin of my parents,  2nd and a ton of 3rd from ALL OVER THE WORLD! How amazing!
